Profile
Dr David Bromell has degrees in English and History (MA Hons, Canterbury) and systematic theology (BD Hons, Melbourne; PhD, Otago). He was a Visiting Scholar at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, in 1988; and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies during 2007.
David has worked in the tertiary education and NGO sectors and as a public servant since 2003. He is currently a Principal Advisor in the Social Sector Strategy Group of the Ministry of Social Development.
Publications
David has published in the fields of theology, church history, philosophy, ethics, social development and psychotherapy. His current research interests focus on population diversity, social cohesion and public policy, and on the craft (and ethics) of policy analysis.
