Derek Gill is a senior public servant on secondment to Victorian University of Wellington's Institute of Policy Studies, researching and teaching public management and governance. Before joining the IPS, Derek had been with the Department of Child, Youth and Family Servicess, the State Services Commission, the OECD, The Treasury and the New Zealand Embassy in Washington DC.
