George Barker is Visiting Research Fellow and Director of the Income Distribution and SOcial Policy Programme at the Institute of Policy Studies, Victoria University of Wellington, and Chief Analyst and Manager, Strategic Analysis Unit, New Zealand Treasury. He hold a DPhil in Economics from Oxford University and a Master of Arts and Law degree from Auckland.
