Session 8: Plenary session - 'Has welfare reform in the UK and Australia been successful?'
The first plenary session of the morning of the second day at the Welfare Working Group Forum. The topic was, 'Has welfare Reform in the UK and Australia been successful?' The topic was, 'Moving from a disability to an ability focus.' impact of benefits on economic performance.' Dr. Christopher Prinz from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Jessica Brown from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and Economic Consultant Michael Fletcher were the speakers. Session 11: Closing Plenary – Insights from the Forum
The closing plenary address at the Welfare Working Group Forum included an address by Professor Jonathan Boston on feedback from the day's Ideas Session as well as feedback from the Forum's suggestion boxes.
Gerardine Clifford, Dr. Bryce Wilkinson and Dame June Jackson spoke to those.
Paula Rebstock finished this session by discussing the next steps for the Welfare Working Group.
The Forum closed with a Poroporoaki.
